Dodge Entertainment Systems
If you're like most people, you spend a lot of time in your Dodge sports car or SUV. Whether you're commuting to and from work or running errands on the weekend, chances are you spend a lot of time behind the wheel. So, why not make the most of that time by upgrading your car's entertainment system?
With an upgraded entertainment system, like a radio or stereo, you'll have access to your favorite music, podcasts, and more.
How to Install a Car Radio
1. Remove the old radio. Start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal to prevent any shorts from occurring. Then, use a panel tool or screwdriver to remove the trim panel around the radio. Once the trim panel is removed, you should see the mounting screws for the radio. Remove these screws and pull out the old radio.
2. Connect the new radio. Most radios will come with a harness that will plug into the back of the new radio. Match up the colors of the wires on the harness to the colors on your vehicle's wiring harness and plug them in. Once all the wires are connected, slide the new radio into place and screw it in using the mounting screws you removed in step one.
3. Reconnect the negative battery terminal. This will power on your new radio so that you can test it out and make sure everything is working correctly.
